Blood Horizon is R.O Sawyer at his best. Yet another masterpiece proving just how versatile the author can be. Creating a thriller is a tough job, and adding suspense on top of it is taking it to a whole new level.The story has Rayna Delgado as the lead character who at the very beginning of the story pays for her father’s past deeds. She then gears up to seek revenge, but from whom? That’s the question. Who is behind all her pains and the tragedy? Rayna’s got to find the answers and she’s willing to up the stakes and do all it takes. Where is Rayna headed to? What does the path she has chosen brings for her? Is to be discovered in this thrilling story, Blood Horizon.
I can’t describe the story telling style in a word or two. The writer has worked on the story telling to create something like never before. The thrill and twists in the story are introduced at the places you would least expect. As a reader you are constantly trying to guess what is to happen next and just when you think you have it all figured out, BAM ! there comes another twist, sweeps you off your feet. You’re put into the backseat and your ride has taken a swift curve down the line.
The plot thickens the more you go further in the story, and the best part is it gets more intriguing the deeper you dig into the story. The experience is like jumping into a quicksand, the more you read, the deeper your mind gets in the story. At some point, if you look in the mirror, you would notice your expressions having a striking resemblance to that of Rayna’s and your heartbeat synced with that of the character. Such is the artistry of R.O Sawyer.
I am really excited to read the next book in this series. This is something every short story lover must read, as it is the best way a writer could possibly get all the emotions, suspense, thrill packed into a short story. I rate this book 5 stars.

"R.O Sawyer does a good job at creating a short story in which you can feel the characters emotions after a tragic event. You then are taken on an adventure with Rayna to get sweet revenge! Nice short read!

I really loved this short, but gripping story. Rayna is supposed to be having her fairytale wedding and instead ends up losing the man she loves.
I really liked Rayna's single-minded determination after losing her fiance. I liked what a strong woman she was and how fierce she became. Vengeance couldn't bring back the man she loved, but revenge is what she's after. The question is... will she end up losing more than her love?
This is the perfect book for viewers looking for a quick and exciting read. Rayna's quest for revenge fuels her as she goes on her journey. This has the pefect balance between action and drama. This was an amazing book and I look forward to reading more frorm R.O Sawyer.
Blood Horizon is a gripping story that swoops the reader in as fast as Rayna’s perfect day turns to hell. As the story evolved we follow Rayna develop from a happy bride to a cold blooded revenger as she realises that sometimes our enemies might be closer than we think.The story is short and leaves room for more that it is, just as the title suggests only an introduction.
The way the story is put together is quite interesting. It keeps you keeps and wondering what's going happen next till the very end! I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to be the culprit's fate once they were caught. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to go on a journey with twists and turns till the very end!
I enjoyed this very quick read, story was interesting and for once female lead was not wishy-washy but a take charge person. Look forward to more stories from RO Sawyer and continuation of this series.
I enjoyed the e-book Blood Horizon. The book was well written. The heroine of the story seemed a little timid has the book began while she was preparing for her wedding. After that, you learn that her father was a hitman who was trying to leave the business because his daughter wanted him to retire. She planned her revenge very well and dealt with her enemies appropriately. The last act of revenge was cold and cruel but also appropriate. I recommend this book and will read other books by this author.
